  1. "remove the ground clutter"

    when zooming in... the ground clutter is very noisy! Can this be cleaned up?

  2. Ad on paid widget

    Hi! I paid for a license and added the weather widget to my blog but when i or others visit my blog we see the ads. How can i remove the ad and how can keep the widget set a predetermined width?

    Hi,

    the configuration is stored locally (localstorage, cookies) or is controlled by the URL parameters.

    You can configure your license as up_license=XXXXX where XXX is your license as one of the URL parameters of the USWR.

    Usually the license is personally. How many visitors does your blog have per day? What is the URL so we can have a look?

    The width is also controlled via URL parameters. There is the width parameters which is related to the height configuration depending on that configuration. You can see the options in the USWR configuration and config it in the URL parameter.

    The local config overrides the URL parameters – you need to keep that in mind when testing the settings.

  3. When I save my area code, it only saves for that day, once I log off, it isn't saved the next time. any suggestions?

    We are sorry to hear about the issue with the saving.

    USWR stores the configuration in HTML5 localStorage or cookies.

    Do you use the USWR in ighome.com or standalone?

    Which browser are you using?

    Can you try stand-alone from this link below?

  5. Settings under "Config" at lower left corner corner of screen keep getting lost.

    Settings under "Config" at lower left corner corner of screen keep getting lost. Multiple times a week I have to reenter my settings. I save them using the "save" button, or "save with google", I double check and triple check that I'm still allowing cookies.....and still the settings keep getting lost.

    Save with google should help.

    This is very, very strange.

    At least the settings in the cloud should stay available and not disappear.

    Which browser on which OS are you using?

    maybe we will create a special debug version. are you comfortable looking at the javascript console or prefer alert popping up?

    how do you use US Weather Radar? Standalone webpage in the browser or e.g. in ighome.com ?

  6. Ability to save more then one location. See weatherbug..Best Weather station is no where near my location. Temp way off!

    Hovering over the ZIP link in the lower left provides the history of locations.

    About the weather station we need the details of your ZIP configured and which station is chosen.

  7. Temperature & Humidity & Barometric Chart for past 24 hours back.

    I see that your site gives a forecast for temperature which is good. I like many want to see why we had such a bad night's sleep or why something went wrong with say a crop that got too cold or some process we need to know if the temp or humidity reading went too low too fast or didn't make it to a given point. Or what the Barometric pressure was that may contribute to windy conditions or even affect those with arthritis. I have only seen a few programs that give this valuable information.     I set Netvibes to single column (full screen), set the widget to full screen, but it still displays as a small map in the center of the box, with vast amounts of white space all aroyund. How do I get a larger map to display?

    Did you try setting the height of the map to “full” in the URL or config (“Height of Map”)? This should be enough.

    You can also play with the width setting in the config.

  9. Weather Badge issue?

    I am using the Weather Badge in Google Chrome. It's been working well, but this morning I noticed that the temperature icon located at the top right corner of the browser is not updating the temperature figure, and if I click on it, I get the current temperature, but the figure in the icon still doesn't update. First time I've seen this issue.

    We have checked it and it seems to work fine. When there is new data the temp is updated as well.
    —
    We do not load the weather info too often as there is cost associated to it. You can order a subscription for the stand-alone US Weather Radar webpage to help fund US Weather Radar.

    In case new weather data is retrieved the temp should be updated. Checking.
