Fix map locations
I enter my zip code under "Config", but the location the map gives me for the weather forecast is off base by 20 miles. When I click on a location on the map itself, I get a location that is off base by even more.
1 voteThe forecast data shown is exactly for the location you specified.
The number of weather stations we can show with the new data provider is more limited and might be further away than before.
If you want a closer weather station you can choose “Best weather station” in the configuration

Return to local temperature locations
The new design (3/14) finds locations 40+ miles away. The old system found locations 2-3 miles away. Now, my zip code gives the current conditions from another state 45 miles away. Clicking around the area finds stations 60+ miles away. Right now, there's a 12 degree difference in local temperature and what the app reports.

Make links work in the USWR "desktop" Chrome app
When I click links to other sites in the "desktop" version of the Chrome app, nothing happens. (ex. "weatherbug" link, "zoom" button in weather cameras, "add a camera" link, none work.)

Filter weather badge notifications by significant change
Rather than just choosing notifications every hour or no notifications, have a choice to only notify if there is a significant change to the weather - I don't need to be told the third hour in a row that it is clear and the temperature changed by a normal hourly amount, but if there is a sudden change in the weather that might matter.

It could be related to a change in percentage larger than a specified amount or a change of the summary from clear to rain?
Is that what you think of? Which parameters could be relevant? Should not be too many of course. Maybe also the change parameter could be read out.

Filter weather badge notifications by type of weather
Rather than just choosing notifications every hour or no notifications, give a little more precision. I really don't want an hourly update that the sky is still clear, but I would like a notification if the weather changed to "bad weather" (in my case rain, snow, or fog).

The current temperature should update automatically....instead I have to refresh the screen.

The "Show radar update time" option doesn't always work.....seems intermittent at best.

I am using igoogle. If I can't get rid of the adsd i will delete the gadget

This has been implemented.
There is a new option “up_animate_radar”. In case set to 0 it will not start the animation.
If you are using the US Weather Radar from Chrome webstore please feel free to rate ;-)

Auto Update and loop?
I have added a KML file from NWS is there any way to get this to auto update and or loop image? I have this on a large screen in my shop that I turn on during bad weather but when I get busy I don't have time to keep clicking the update button
